How I read and write registers on point grey usb cam?

I'm using two camera Point Grey. A firewire and a  usb Firefly MV.

In the firewire camera I can write and read registers as Frame_rate (83c) or Frame_info (12F8) with Imaqdx Read Register and Imaqdx Write Register, but I can not do this with the USB camera.

Someone achieved to do these operations with the usb cam firefly?

Hello,

The USB cameras use Directshow to control the functions. The Directshow feature is limited.

When using USB cameras with the IMAQdx driver you must configure the Cameras in MAX and not all of the features from other cameras will be able to be configured.

Check if your camera has this property in MAX, if it does not, that means you can not modify the property, because it is limited by the Directshow of the camera.
