Is Advanced Edge Search available using VB6?

I just installed Vision Development Module 8.5 hoping to try out the new Advanced Edge Search which is advertised in the letter sent with the software.  I can use it in Vision Assistant 8.5, which is really slick.  When I create a builder file to plug into my VB6 code, I notice there is No object or Active X for this tool.   In 8.2.1 I use CWMachineVisionFindStraightEdge which uses CommonEdgeOptions.   In 8.5 the advanced edge search I believe is called CWMachineVisionFindStraightEdges (vision builder calls it this) which uses EdgeOptions2 and SearchLines.   No where in my object pulldown or the help menu can I find this tool to use in VB6.  Need some clarification on this tool for VB6.  Thanks

Thanks for posting to the NI forums!  The method you are looking for is CWIMAQVision.FindStraightEdges.  You can find the syntax in the NI Vision VB Help reference (located at C:\Program Files\National Instruments\Vision\Documentation\cwimaq.chm by default).
