Internal IMAQ Image representation: Left/Right Alignment

Hi,

In the pdf-document "IMAQ Vision Concept Manual" there is a chapter called "Internal Representation of an IMAQ Vision Image" at page 1-6 (or 21).

This chapter says:
----------------------------------------------
The size of the alignment blocks depend on the image width and border size. Aligning the image increases processing speed by as much as 30%.
----------------------------------------------

Is there any function I can call to make sure that the image is aligned correctly, or is this taken care of automatically by IMAQ?

I am using IMAQ Vision 6.0.5 under Visual Studio .NET, C++.

Thanks,
Torbjørn

All images created by IMAQ Vision are automatically byte aligned for optimum performance. The user does not need to take any action to make use of this optimization.
