ImgMemUnlock.vi is generating errors

I am looking for a reason I would be getting this message. LabView: An exception occurred within the external code called by Call Library Node. This might have corrupted LabVIEW's memory. Save any work to a new location and restart LabView.

VI "name of vi" was stopped at node 0xEA8 of subVI "imgMemUnlock.vi"

Thanks for any help I receive.

Hello.

I have looked into your issue and have not been able to locate anything conclusive right away. As such, I believe we need a little bit of information about your application (i.e. what IMAQ VIs are you using, if you are doing a ring/sequence how many buffers, etc.)

The VI to which you are referring is not called by nearly all of the common NI-IMAQ VIs, imgMemLock.vi is called by the IMAQ Start VI, but the imgMemUnlock is not very common. Also, let us know what version of the driver you are using.

A couple of suggestions:

1. Uninstall and re-install the driver. The current version of NI-IMAQ is 3.0. I recommend upgrading if you are not using it.

2. Try running some of the example VIs and see if you get any issues from them.
