Hello.
The location of the file that you are referencing should be the following:
C:\Program Files\National Instruments\RT Images\CommonVisionBasically, it is a resource file for the Real-Time component of the driver.
If this file is missing, or even the directory itself, it is just an installation issue. When you run the NI-IMAQ for 1394 installation (1.5.2), there should be an option to add real time support. If this option is not checked, then this component may not be present.
To fix your problem, I would recommend uninstalling the IMAQ for 1394 driver, installing the driver version 1.5.2 ensuring that you select Custom install, and that the 'NI 1450 Series Support' is selected to be installed. Then, install the 1.5.3 patch and you should b
e good to go!
