Image Aquisition Template for Camera Link Camera

I have a Camera Link (Cohu 7800 series) camera that I need to aquire images with. I have a PCI-1428 acquisition board, and I have installed the NI-IMAQ software. Since this camera does not have an external trigger, I need to set up some kind of LabView interface to send the trigger and acquire images. I have never used LabView before, and I need to use this ASAP, so I am wondering if there are any templates/tutorials for this kind of triggered acquistion?

  I previously downloaded a template, but many of the sub-functions that it called out could not be found. I have NI-IMAQ 3.1.1, and LabView 7.1.1, so maybe the template just wasn't compatible with one of those versions. Could someone please point me towards some information on this subject?

The NI Example Finder (found under Help >> Find Examples . . .) will open a myriad of LabVIEW examples for you. I would recommend looking under:

Browse Tab: 

Hardware Input & Output >> IMAQ >> High-Level

Look specifically at the HL Grab and HL Snap examples

If you need physical signals that trigger the acquisition - like a digital line, look at:

Hardware Input & Output >> IMAQ >> Signal Input & Output

Thanks for that input. Those examples do work, but I now have another problem with getting color images. I've described it in a different post.
