IMAQ will not initialize when run in Labview

I recently upgraded from Labview 6.1 to 8.0, previously to this upgrade my IMAQ programs were running perfectly, but after I upgraded it fails to initialize. The error occurs in the "IMAQ1394 Init.vi" more specifically the external code called by the "Call Library Function Node" within the vi. Any help to remedy this situation would be much appreciated.

I think you need to upgrade your firewire driver as well, but I am not sure.  What version is your current firewire driver?
