IMAQ driver for Matrox Meteor II/1394

Dear all,
I want to use applications that use the Matrox MIL library and NI IMAQ based software on the same WinXP PC for cameras at a Matrox MeteorII/1394.
I know that IMAQ brings drivers for XP for the direct communication with 1394 camaras. But in one hardware profile I can bind either the MIL or the IMAQ driver, not both coexitent.

My question: Is it possible to set the IMAQ based application on top of the MIL driver, or asked in an other way, is a IMAQ driver for MIL available?

Thanks for your answer.
Best regards
Michael Wildenhain

Dear Mr. Wildenhain, I am not quite sure if I understood your question. You have installed a firewire interface board which calls "Matrox MeteorII/1394". Now, you want use different drivers (Matrox and "NI-Imaq for IEEE-.1394) to acquire images, right? And you want to switch between them drivers without using the device manager of your OS? What is the reason for that - do you use different software to analyse the acquired images (MIL and "NIVisionDevelopmentModule")? What kind of development enviroment are you using?

Yes I've Installed a Matrox MeteorII/1394 board. On the PC runs a software of an external manufucturer which is based on the Matrox Imagine Library (MIL) 7.1. For that reason on the PC the Matrox MIL device driver is installed. I have to develop and setup another application on the same PC based on NI Vision Development Module. I'm not shure, if NI Vision/IMAQ is able to handle calls to the MIL driver or if the NI own driver for the 1394 board resp. the camera is necessary what means a switch between device drivers every time the application is switched.
