IMAQ Extract - missing pixels in ROI

I am running some code that uses IMAQ Extract to extract an ROI from an image.

I seem to get one less pixel than I expect in each direction.

Is this to be expected, i.e. does it calculate the number of pixels based on the

difference of each ROI extent rather than the differerence + 1?

If so, is it the first or last pixels that I lose?

Yes it's like that. You lose the last pixel in each direction.
