How can i know the interpolating function equation using in subpixel analysis for edge detection

I am using the edge detection tool with Vision Developpemnt Module and export it under Labview. I'd like to use the subpixel analysis to obtain the edge location (1D). The edge detection software fits an interpolating function to compute the edge location with subpixel precision.
I would like to know how can i know the interpolating function equation.

Hello Matoch,

Thank you for contacting National Instruments.

The edge detection VIs in LabVIEW use either a cubic or quadratic spline for interpolation. For the "IMAQ Edge Tool" VI, the type of interpolation can be changed by modifying the "SubPixel Information" terminal of the VI.
