FireWire Linescan camera

We are using the ISG SLIS 2048 linescan camera at the moment for inspection purposes. For some applications, the output of the camera is not stable enough. ISG told me they have a hard time calibrating the camera because of the lack of dark pixels on the sensor. Can anybody tell me how to set up the camera to get a more stable output? Is there an other FireWire linescan camera available that works with the NI IMAQ software (perhaps not fully tested)?

GDO

To the best of my knowledge, there is no other viable linescan FireWire camera on the market. Many customers have been successful with the ISG cameras.

Hope this helps,
