I am doing a pipe inspection for cracks and scrathes using NI 1742 camera and vision builder/assistant. The problem is that there is writing (letters, numbers) on the pipes, which are treated as cracks/scrathes by the inspection. The question is how do I teach the camera to ignore the writing?
Thank you

I was able to figure out how to make the library when the image is horizontal in ORC, but when the image is flipped vertically the ORC does not recognize the symbols. Is there are a way to teach it flippen images of letters, numbers?

Hello
I have used the OCR to create a library that detect the texts similar to you. However, the text images in my library will still fail during my inspection.
How would I filter this so that the text images would in fact pass?
Thanks

Hello Diljay
Do you want to post some sample images that are causing you concern? Are you using Vision Builder AI? Can you please let me know which software version you are using and what operating system you are running? Additionally, you may wish to post your VBAI project file. The more you can tell me about your application, the better picture I will have and the better I can assist you.
Perhaps if russki1 wishes to share the solution currently implemented.
Thank you very much for everyone's contribution!
