External triggers and camera file for PCI-1409

Dear guru,

I plan to capture a nonstandard signal employing PCI-1409, IMAQ-A6822. Since my signal is not a standard video signal, I have to generate the HSYNC,VSYNC and PCLK by myself and those triggers will be imported by IMAQ-A6822. The input signal is connected with VIDEO 0 on the IMAQ-A6822. My questions are

(1) How can I customize a camera configure file(*.icd) for this nonstandard video signal? Should I create this camera file based on a line scan camera file?
(2) How can I programmatically control the HSYNC,VSYNC and PCLK in C++? Any example code? I already read the LL Ring example. It does not mention on how to coordinate with the external triggers?
