Error 1714: installation failure

I tried updating my version of NI-IMAQ from 2.5.5. When attempting an installation of NI-IMAQ 3.0 I get the following error message: Error 1714: "The older version of NI-IMAQ 3.0 cannot be removed. Contact your technical support group." How can I install NI-IMAQ 3.0?

Did you uninstalled 2.5.5 before run the setup of 3.0? Is it possible that there is an old registry key of LabVIEW 6.0.2 at HKEY_Classes_Root>>Installer>>Products? It should help to delete these file. But export you current settings before.
Another and better way could be to use Msi Clean Utility (attached) to remove the MSI information regarding LabVIEW 6.0.2.
