I am working on a project to analyze a screen printing processing. The samples have extreme contrast variations. The goal is a consistent color across the printed area and identifying the defect locations. I am using particle analysis with limited success. The key to particle analysis is setting the threshold correctly that can be done manually. I have tired correcting images for brightness and using a histogram to detect the transition from darker particles to lighter. All have yielded limited success. Is there a better way? Sorry, can't post BMP files.

Hey Matt,
I understand that you've been put in contact with one of our Appilcation's Engineers over the phone. We'll be sure to update this post with the approach you and the engineer work out together.
