Cannot Install NI Camera File Generator

I'm about to put an updated NI Camera File Generator (2.0.4) up that will fix the following issues:

- Splash screen shows wrong version

- Add Attribute Dialog modality removes Camera File Generator from Alt+Tab selection

- Camera File Generator can't open certain older camera files

- Camera File Generator doesn't prompt to save when exiting if file has changed.

I'm waiting for documentation to finish, but hopefully in the next few days that will happen. Just wanted to let you know we are aware of this problem and will have a fix soon.

I just put the new NI Camera File Generator 2.0.4 that shouldn't hang anymore. The oldest version of NI-IMAQ that is supported with it is 3.5.1 (Installed with Vision Acquisition 8.0). The installer can be found here:

I still get this when i click on the setup

When I right click and give save as I get a "Setup.EXE could not be saved, because the source file could not be read.

Try again later, or contact the server administrator."

Just to try something...open Internet Explorer (I have version 7). Use this URL:

ftp://ftp.ni.com/support/imaq/pc/ni-imaq/cfgenerator/2.0.4

Click on Setup.exe (don't right click, just normal click on it), and Choose to Run the executable from the web page and choose to trust the web site. If that doesn't work, let me know if you can open the README.txt, or anything from

ftp://ftp.ni.com/outgoing/

NI Camera File Generator 2.0.4 requires NI-IMAQ 3.5.1 or higher.

Fixed issues for NI Camera File Generator 2.0.4:

- If NI-IMAQ 4.3 or higher is installed, NI Camera File Generator will not hang.

I just put a zip file in the Camera File Generator 2.0.4 folder. Not sure what to tell you if you can't download that. I guess you could send me your email and we could try that if this doesn't work.
