Camera fo indoor application

Hi everyone.

I need to track motion of objects with size about 50cm in area approx. 2*2m. Objects velocity is not greater then 1m/s. Point of view is changes from time to time. I need color-sensitive usb-powered camera. I propose to fix cam on high tripod, so it would be better to have the ability of programmatically zoom control. Would you please recommend me appropriate camera?

Hello Err,

There are a wide range of USB-powered cameras you can choose from.  The only requirement for use with the IMAQ for USB driver is the ability to interface with DirectShow.  The KnowledgeBase article found here, describes your options in greater detail.

Hello Err:

As I know, maybe not right. USB camera is not so compatable and not supported so well as 1394. I would like recommend you think about the firewire options.  It is fast, stalbe and versatile. I have tryed 1394 camera and USB camera. 1394 is much better than usb.
