Camera config file parameters

Hi,

I have a PCI-1422 board with a high speed CCD camera from Redlake, model ES 310T. I have the user manual of this camera (see file attached) as well as the IMAQ user manual. The camera is said to have a maximum frame rate of 125 fps and that could be increased to 400fps. The user's manual does not clearly explain how to do that neither is the IMAQ user's manual. There exist some parameters in the ".icd" config file used by IMAQ to set the camera's attribute that are not explain in either camera manual and IMAQ manual. Does a manual that explain the camera config used by IMAQ exist somewhere? Anyone?

Best regards,

Mathieu,

I would recommend taking a look at the following Discussion Forum post:

What does NI provide for custom camera file development?
http://forums.ni.com/ni/board/message?board.id=200&message.id=4063&requireLogin=False

This page makes reference to the NI Camera File Generator and provides a link to a location on the NI FTP site where you can download this software. The documentation that installs with that software may be of some help in describing the different attributes and methods that you can use in the camera file.

Please read through that post as well as the documentation that installs with the Camera File Generator.

If you have any additional questions, please let me know.
