Make sure your OCX is registered on the system. You can do that by using opening up the command prompt window, and typing in regsvr32 and the full path to the ocx.
So it would look like this, if the ocx is under the windows system32 folder and was called test.ocx
regsvr32 c:\windows\system32\test.ocx
You can browse for the ocx by yourself, choosing to view all files. Once you select the OCX in the file dialog, CVI will automatically register it for you if it was not registered in the first place.
