Hey Wolf,
if you installed the vision acquisition software please be sure that you checkmark the CVI support.
Activate the software in the license manager.
Test the camera in MAX and take a snap or grap and press the save button.

Finaly switch to the example finder in cvi and open under hardware input output /Imaqdx or legacy the snap example.
Kind regards,
Elmar

hello Elmar,
i found a example for simple snap.
But i need the funktion "imaq1394SnapImage" for it.
I can't find the funktion in my c-files.
Kind regards,

Hey Wolf,
as i posted before please be sure that you install support for your software.
After the installation and activation you will find 1394 snap examples in your CVI example finder.
It looks similar to the printscreen in the attachment.
Kind regards,
Elmar

Hey Wolf,
if you are able to open the snap example you will find also the 1394 snap function.
Because it exist only one function for snap.
But the snap function name could change if you select the imaqdx driver in MAX instead of the legacy driver.
Kind regards,
Elmar
