Windows visual style problem

Solved!
Go to solution

Using CVI 9.0(348).

I have a project that has panels set to use Windows visual style for controls, and it works fine on my development machine. When I create a distribution set to install on my customer's machine and install and run it, however, all the controls are displayed in the 'traditional' CVI lab style, rather than in Windows style.

Clearly something is missing from the target machine, but what?

Both my development system and the target machine are Windows XP.

To answer my own question, this happens if the Windows XP display appearance is set to 'Windows Classic style' rather than 'Windows XP style'.
