i need to download CVI 9.0.1

Can you give me a link to download CVI 9.0.1 CVI Full Dev?

2009 requires a new RTE and I cannot upgrade all my machines at this time.

PMetty,

The run time engines are backwards compatable, so you can put the 9.1.0 run-time on a machine that has CVI 9.0.1 and it should run the same. If you don't want to do that at this time, and do not have immediate access to your old disk, you will need to call us at  (888) 280-7645 inorder to get a copy of 9.0.1.

Thanks Richard, looks like I'll have to make the call.

A couple things NI should be aware of.

1) It is not a small effort to upgrade your customers' customers' computer.  If it was just 2 or 3 of my machines then it's just a nucience.  But now I have to coordiate with a dozen off site customers and take their tests off line while I install a new RTE.    So, this isn't a good solution.

2) NI should never take the previous version of a product completely off the site if there is a potential compatiblity issue .. like a new RTE requirement.  I would like to see NI's policy changed on this point.

I certainly agree coordinating with multiple customers can be difficult. If you really need a copy of a previous version of any of our software it is available, just not through immediate download. Another number you can call is (800) 531-5066 . We do take feedback for NI.com: https://sine.ni.com/apps/utf8/nicc.call_me?p_country=United%20States&p_form_id=5
