how to compress image with labwindows cvi

hello,

I have to make a project in Labwindows/CVI , to compress/decompress a grayscale image, and i need to use FFT2D, DCT2D and DST2D transforms. I don't know how to use this functions in my program. please help me . My image is .bmp.I'm begginer in this program and i don't know to much about it.

Hi Georgiana,

Are you having trouble using these functions (they don't work?) or do you need more information about what they do and what parameters to pass to them?  What is the picture you attached?  Is it a user interface, but you just need the code backend to do your computing?
