application in control

Hi,

I want to start an external application in an specific area of the CVI Panel(Like a picture in a button Object)

Is there anywhere an control or ActiveX  or something that can do so?

Hi Penny 2611,

You can put an ActiveX control on your panel (UIR).  First, you right-click on the UIR and select ActiveX.  Then, you can put any ActiveX Control registered on your computer onto your UIR.  For more information on this, please see the help under Library Reference >> User Interface Library >> Controls >> Control Types >> ActiveX Control.  Please pay particular attention to the section Programming with ActiveX Controls.
