Visual studio 2005 console missing

Solved!
Go to solution

I just tried to convert my cvi application to compile with visual studio 2005, with the CVI 9.0 conversion wizard. It seems to work in the sense that it interacts with my labview application correctly but the console doesn't show up. Is there some setting in visual studio to make my console appear?

Thanks

in Visual Studio 2005, open the project properties (menu "Project/Properties" or right-click on the project name in the soution explorer and select "Properties" in the contextual menu). in the tree on the left pane, select "Configuration Properties/Linker/System". on the right pane,  the first option is "Subsystem": select the value "Console" to have a console appear, or "Windows" if you do not want a console.
