StartPCSound problem

I have implemented the
StartPCSound(1000)
function in my CVI source code. It works in computers on
which installed the NI CVI. But it does not give any
sound if I install the distribution kit on that PC,
which has not NI CVI development environment!
It have been made with CVI Ver6.0 and
under Windows 2000 & XP.

Sanyi,

Sounds like you might be missing the CVI RTE.  In 7.0 you can include it by choosing 'Full Run-Time Engine' under the 'Run-Time Engine Support' option when you create your distribution kit.  Unfortunately I don't know if the options are the same in 6.0 but I'd imagine they will be fairly similar.

Dave,

Thank you for the idia, I have used in CVI6.0 the "Full-Runtime Engine"
but your proposal suggested me to switch on
"Install Low-Level Support Driver"
in the "Create Distribution Kit".

Now the function
StartPCSound(1000)
works in any PC.
