Hello People!
Is there any way to make a meter or a gauge to display a logarithm scale?

Hi Malafronte,
To make a logarithim scale in a gauge or a meter, you just need to go to the properties of this controle and select in Scale the box logarithm.
You can see in this screenshot attached.
Feel free to ask more questions.
Good Luck!

That looks like a LabView screen to me - we are in the LabWindows/CVI forum!

Sorry Friends. It was my fault. I was distracted and I didn't see. Sorry again.
I made a search and I found an attribute to change to logarithm scale, but this attribute works only with graphs. Unfortunately I didn't find anything related to gauges or meters.
Please, tell me if you can make a workaround with a linear gauge or meter and a logarithm graph.
I hope this helps.

I had a workaround once, where I disabled the markers of a linear CVI meter and calculated a logarithmic value for its SetCtrlVal(). I placed the meter on a Picture (or Canvas) control on which I had pre-drawn a bitmap showing a logarithmic set of markers. Not exactly programmer friendly or even very flexible, but it worked well enough.

Same situation here. I imagine this is the best workaround so far... 😞
