Linking fails with more than a certain number of functions defined

Hi,

We have an urgent problem with CVI. A colleague is using CVI 8.0.1 (356) and DAQmx 8.1.0.f1 and has encountered a problem when compiling a project with more than a certain number of functions defined. The project compiles but linking fails and all available memory is consumed and a low memory warning is generated. This can be observed using the Performance tab of the Task Manager. When a single function is removed from the project it works, as soon as a new (blank) function is added, the problem recurs. However, on my machine it compiles and links fine. I am using the same version of CVI, but DAQmx 8.0.0f0.

Can someone from NI please help.

Thanks

Jamie posted the above entry for me.  The only information that needs to be added is that I have obtained the error on two very different machines using different operating systems.

Hi Dave

Could you post the project on the forum so we can investigate this further? If you are not confortable with posting the project online, we can take the conversation offline. If you prefer that, please post your email address.

Thanks

Bilal,

I'd prefer to take this matter off-line.  My e-mail address is David.Byrne@AdvanticaGroup.com

Many thanks,

Dave
