How CVI talk to raw socket without IP address

Hi,

I have Windows 7 connect to a Xilinx ZC706 eval board through Ethernet Gadget, now I can see "USB Ethernet/RNDIS Gadget" under Network adapter on Device Manager,

on Linux side of ZC706, it shows:

usb0      Link encap:Ethernet  HWaddr 0A:5A:E1:D0:16:F2
          BROADCAST MULTICAST  MTU:1500  Metric:1
          RX packets:0 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 frame:0
          TX packets:0 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 carrier:0
          collisions:0 txqueuelen:1000
          RX bytes:0 (0.0 B)  TX bytes:0 (0.0 B)

From NI MAX, this driver did now show up, how to talk this driver

on CVI? I must set up IP address on Linux side?

Thanks

Looking at this manual, it seems like there are some drivers described that you may need to download. Have you already gone through the Xilinx Getting Started Guide to get the drivers that it seems this eval kit needs? Are you able to run the built-in self-test?
