Officially, the answer is no, since we have not tested CVI with Embedded XP. However it still might work. It all depends on what Microsoft add/removed in the embedded version of XP. And since we dont officially support it, please remember that you if you do happen to run into problems, you will be on your own.
If you are looking to embedded, real-time OS's, check out LabVIEW RT, which allows you to download LAbVIEW code, and CVI dll's to run on a Pharlap OS on a control. Check out the following link for more information.

I have built six machines with XP embedded. The PC used is B&R industrial PC with CFD as HDD. I did not find any difference in working XP embedded.
Application develeped in : CVI
PC : B&R (br-automation.com)
Hardware : PCI 6221 & PCI 6509
