I have PXI and VXI instruments. How can the communication be done using CVI? I see VXI library but do not see PXI library in CVI. Is it better to use VISA to communicate to both VXI and PXI?

hello

 there is nothing special for instrument in PXI rack.   open the MAX and give a name to the instrument. then you are able to program them in normal way!.

No nothing special. Was just wondering which protocol to be used? TCP/IP or VISA or any other? Need a client server model setup.

Are there any examples of connfeguring PXI instrument using CVI?
