xilinx compilation install error

Hi

I have downloaded the xilinx tools 12.4 ( the .iso file) but when trying ti install the tools an error come up and can't continue the installation, there is an error starting from  part13  to the end, need a solution plz. I think the file on the site is corrupted 

can I use the xilinx ise to do the compilation for me??

Hey Michael,

Is there any chance you could attach a screen shot of the error you are getting? A visual would be a good start in trying to figure out wha is going wrong. Also, when I downloaded my Xilinx tools, I used the setup.exe file to install the tools and that worked just fine so I don't think the online download is corrupted.

I have downloaded the tools again and installed them succcessfully on my pc but when I try to use my spartan3e board to toggle a LED get this error

What FPGA board are you using. We have a variety of different Xilinx compiler tools and I want to make sure you are using the right tools.
