vi version compatibility

I use Labview 7.0 and want to upgrade to Labview 2009. I am in doubt that cannot manage my old vi's with Lv2009. What if i must save a vi with 7.0? Sould i keep a Lv 7.0 in my hand?

Before updating, i recommend you to backup the vis.

The update itself should work out properly if there are no issues with unresolved dependencies or VIs with their block diagrams removed....
