vi package manager

Hi guys..

I would like to ask a few question as a beginner for labview.. I just started and facing a few problem. Hopefully you all guys can help me.

1- What should I install for VI package manager? I think this part very important to interface between hardware and software.

2-Any link or reference i can explore for myrio? especially in design the block diagram. Currently in my lab I have myrio and labview 2016

thanks you.

When you installed LabVIEW 2016, you presumably also installed the myRIO software (LabVIEW 2016 myRIO Toolkit).  I don't know whether or not you need to install LabVIEW 2016 Real-Time Module -- possibly not, as the myRIO Toolkit might have the necessary "pieces".  In any case, the image that you show in Slide 1 comes from the setup routine that I'm pretty sure I remember from the myRIO setup routine in the Toolkit.

Once you have communications with the myRIO and your LabVIEW host PC, you can try some of the Projects that are on the LabVIEW Tools Network (downloaded using VIPM, as you seem to have done).

Just to be clear, the device drivers are not found on VI Package Manager, they come with the hardware, and often with the LabVIEW installer if you're talking about strictly NI hardware. Make sure that LabVIEW is installed first or with the drivers. If you install drivers first then you won't have development support and cannot write code with them.

VI Package Manager has a lot of toolkits and some examples as you have found, but no required drivers for NI hardware.
