vi.lib information

There are a bunch of good tools in vi.lib that are not on a pallette.  How do I get more information about it?  What is the best way of using that vi.lib?  Do I just add it into my project?

Hi jyang72211,

you shouldn't add the vi.lib into your project. If you use vi's out of it, then they are automatically under dependences.

If there are certain Vis that you want to use, open them and save as...  That will create a new copy of that VI so you don't overwrite the library.  From there you can drag it to your project and use them as subVIs.  Hope that helps
