using step or pulse

Hi,

I am trying to use step/pulse response and see the output on the oscilloscope. But it seems that I dont get anything out of a certain channel in I/0.
I  tried using pulse and passed to one of the Analog output channel, but nothing. I can see on the labview scope but the signal is  not coming out of the I/0 channel. What is wrong???

Thanks
Sal

What step/pulse response function are you talking about? What kind of I/O are you talking about and what functions are you using? What LabVIEW scope are you talking about? Is this a piece of hardware that you're using to detect a pulse? Your question is kind of vague. Could you possibly post your VI or an image of it (no bmp files though).

Hi there,

Well it seems i have put some confusion. I am attaching a vi that i am using to generate a pulse.
I am trying to see it on the external scope but have not been able to ? Why is that? Something wrong with the vi?

SAL2005,

I think you are on the wrong track.  Try using the attached example VI.  I have modified the VI from a shipping example.  The other Analog Generation shipping examples located in the LabVIEW example finder has a lot of great VIs to work with.

Open LabVIEW, goto help and select find examples.

Then traverse the folder in the middle of the example finder following the path below
Hardware Input and Output->DAQmx->Analog Generation->Voltage...

Tell me if this works for you.

What hardware are you using?
