user interface problem

Hi I have UI.VI under a folder called DAQ and i have all my other VI's in the same folder. i can link to my Temp , Densiometry and Spirometry VIS but i connot link to my voltage.vi ? why ?

You have not provided any of the subVIs so your question is pretty much impossible to answer without pure guessing, which I'll pass on for now.

What is your definition of "link to"? I am not familiar with this term in this context.

 (How is the subVI setup? Could it be that it is configured to not show the panel?)

(btw, why do you think you need to write the panel color via a property 4x per second in a loop? Once is probably enough!)

Hello I will attach my folder soon. it is so big as a zip file , i will compress it and zip it.

For the Property 4x per sec , i will fix it 🙂 once my application works i will do another nice colored pannel.

Link to means when i select emg/force/scope from my menu  in UI.vi i want the voltage.vi to open up. 🙂

Go to the UI.vi and right-click on "voltage.vi". Now select "SubVI node setup" and check

• Show front panel when called
• close afterwards.

Your voltage VI does not appear because of the Window Appearance setup in the VI Properties.

For your Voltage VI, go to the VI Properties->Windows Appearance, check the Customize radial, and click on the Customize button setup.  This takes you to the Customize Window Appearance.  Check "Show font panel when called" and "Close afterwards if originally closed".  Save the Voltage VI.  Hope this helps.
