Load a sub VI into a subpanel and keep it there after first load

I'm wondering if it is possible to programmatically load a subVI into a sub-panel the first time the main VI runs, and then keeps the subVI's FP loaded until the user quits the program?

Right now every time I stop execution, the subVI's front panel dissapears. Is there a way around this?

Hi Brad,

you can hide your "main" vi, load the sub vi into the sub panel and show the "main" vi. Afaik, there is no way to have a vi in a subpanel after stop it.

In vi properties -->Window appearence -->customize--> select open front panel when called and unselect close afterwards when originally closed.IS this what u r looking at?
