usb stepper motor

Hello every one....

Iam doing one project it consists stepper motor...so i would like interface this stepper motor to labview programming...can it possible....for this reason i would like to buy usb driver stepper motor......so any other modules needed?

Yes you can interface stepper motor with LabVIEW using the proper hardware.

You will need the following:

1. A Stepper Motor

2. A power supply rated at the stepper motor specs

3. A stepper motor driver that connects to the motor, power supply, and controller (such as the ones mentioned below)

4. A controller which is usually a USB DAQ or a myRIO that has digital outputs (if you are familiar with NI hardware)

5. A software written in LabVIEW that sends digital signals to the digital outputs according to the desired speed/direction (normally pulse and direction)

6. Some basic internet search skills becuase there are zrillions of posts on how to do all the above
