usb camera

Hello,

I don't understand why the attached code won't capture video to disk. It seems that everything is working except from that. I use LabView 2014 SP1 and a third part 720P HD USB mini camera with an inbuilt microphone. Video and audio appear in LabView and is running perfectly. I've been in contact with NI support and been helped a lot, but still miss the last important thing of how to capture video file to disk.

The example is based on the NI developer community page:

I'm not familiar with VideoCapX -- is this third-party software or something from NI that I just haven't installed?  Is there a reason you are not using the IMAQdx routines that come with LabVIEW's Vision module?

Yes, it's a third party software. I don't use Vision module due to lack of audio support...

Do you get any errors out? Are you positive that you have "write" access to the C drive?

I have no error messages. I can save and write to C drive, but this program can't nor to other drives. Dp you have any ideas?
