tutorial filter

Hi,

I just purchased LabVIEW 8.2 Base development System Win 2000/XP.  I am already stuck in the 'Getting Started with LabVIEW Version 8.20' booklet of tutorials. I cannot work the Chapter 3 tutorial. In the subsection 'Modifying a VI created from a Template' (pages 3-2 to 3-3), I followed all the instructions but the VI won't run. Later, in 'Filtering a Signal' (page 3-6) I executed a Functions menu search for 'Filter' as instructed but I cannot find a VI that looks like the one shown in Figure 3-3. The only thing that the search returns is something called 'Agilent34401.lvlib.ConfigureACFilter'. What am I doing wrong?

The chapter title itself (Full and Professional) should be enough of a clue but there is also a note on page 3-1 that explicitly states that the full or professional version of LabVIEW is required.
