Hi
One simple method you can use to list out the folders of your computer.
If any USB Pendrive is connected with your computer you will get the Pen Drive Name.
First get all number of drives. Make constant this value if next time with your pendrive you get the number of element is more then the fixed one then you can say external device is connected with PC.
May be this is not the standard method to detect the device, but it can solve your issue.
Thanks and Regards

As shown in figure you just pass a blank path to the function. This will give you the computer disk names.

i agree with ur suggestion himanshu, when i connect a pendrive it ll be giving me another drive name in folders name, but i jus want to get an automatic update that i have connected an extra drive without checking in folders name, like whenever i connect an extra drive, led should be on and when i remove it, led should turn off. plz help me out. thanks 🙂
