timed loop using freqout

Hi All,

After much digging i found the DAQmx Create Timing Source (Frequency), when i select Dev1/Freqout as the counter it shouts at me... Its fine if i select one of the counters, i dont really want to count anything persay. Can anyone help?

I am not a DAQ master but some things use the counter as multi-purpose.  Like using a fixed length acquire will steal on of your counters.  If it works then use it.  Otherwise post the error code and description.  It is not uncommon to have DAQ disagree with you.
