text from bitmap

I have a bitmap that will include a black and white picture and white text.  How do I find the text on the bitmap?

Using LabVIEW's Vision Module on you should be able to apply an OCR to your image and extract the text. However, this will require you to purchase this module. You may be able to get hold of an evaluation somewhere.

Your question has nothing to do with LabVIEW and would be strictly a problem with whatever OCR program you use. If you are using TOCR, then I would suggest using the TOCR viewer to test the conversion. When I converted your .gif file to .tif and opened it with the viewer, the image was virtually unreadable. This may have been a problem with the .gif to .tif conversion but I really have no way of knowing that. With the viewer, you have various options you can experiment with.
