temporary directory changed?

I was using the temporary directory icon for various purposes in my vi and it was poninting to C:\Documents and Settings\"User Name"\Local Settings\Temp, whihc was perfect, but all of a sudden it has changed to C:\WINNT\Temp

Does anybody know why or how this can happen?

You can check this under Tools>Options and the category paths.

Yes I have looked into that once I noticed the temporary directory hadchanged  but  I must have alwyas been using the default, since i never removed it, and it seems that the default changed for some reason

Sorry for the late response but I'm currentlz out fo office.

So under the Options you still see the default paths but LabVIEW seems to link to another path?
