tektronix TDS5000 dataplugin

Hi all,

Anybody have any luck using the Tektronix_TDS5000 plugin?  It seems to be my end all to a problem posted here.  I am simply trying to read tek .wfm files with LabVIEW and from what I understand, the dataplugin should work regardless if diadem is present or not on your machine.  Note, I've also tried this from within DIAdem and still nothing.  I have registered the .uri (meaning downloaded to my machine and double clicked it) and tried using the example posted on the NI webpage and attached below for convenience.  Unfortunately, I can't attach a .wfm file to this post since it is not a supported file type according to the error I got trying to post this initially.  If someone feels frisky enough and would like a .wfm file I can provide via email.  Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Drew

Hi Drew,

You must have hand handled this issue,  but I am posting workaround for future reference.

File converter is on the Tek web, see link below.
 TEKTRONIX WINDOWS OSCILLOSCOPE WFM CONVERTER
 httpwww2.tek.comcmswptswdetails.lotrct=SW&cs=sut&ci=12389&lc=EN

Calling this file converter exe file on LabVIEW like below, you can get txt file.

Hope this helps.
