system exec, Program doesn't save its data

Hi,

I have build a very simple VI which is calling an *.exe file with system exec. The program is grabbing some image data with a matrox helios card. All seems to be working correctly but the program should save the grabbed images as an *.avi file (108MB size). But this *.avi file is not saved when I use system exec.  

When I double click the programm under windows all is working fine. It grabs 120 Images in 2 seconds and saves them as *.avi.

Anybody have some ideas which could be the problem?

can you set the path, where to save the 108 MB file? Is it possible with an additional parameter? I think it could be that the path is the problem.
