I am trying to swap 5 bits randomly.....with the condition where the most significant bit will be remain the same.
Can anyone assist me? Thanks.

Hello.

Perhaps the attached VI can get you started. Of course, you would need to add more cases for the other ways in which the 4 least-significant bits can be swapped.
