summertime flag without automatically clock adjustment

Hi,
does anybody made already a vi that calculates the day, when normal time (wintertime) switches to summertime?
Problem is following: We need to log measurements in normal time without changing to local summertime. Actual data will be published in local time summer or wintertime.
I could compare my data logging time stamp with another PC's local time with automatically clock adjustment set, but maybe there is already a vi or a algorithm I could put into a vi?
Thanks
Olli

Hey Olli,

The LabVIEW timestamp carries an indicator on whether it is Daylight Savings Time or not. I created a little VI that checks this and either passes the time through or substracts an hour. This can also be changed to add an hour during winter time, depending on what you want. Let me know if this helps

My apologies,

I responded to the above post using a training facility computer, without double checking the log in. Bob, I did not have any malicious intent, and have since removed all of your log-in information from this computer to protect your security. I will be more careful in the future.

Hi Mello,
yes this helps and is really easy...I was checking the unbundle by names too and calculated the flag...but I didn't read the help for information ;-(
...Of course daylight saving time (->DST) is the correct term. It's exactly what I'm looking for!
Thanks a lot
Olli
