subvi problem

I have a huge application, but initial it must ask the user to select a data from a file that loaded onto vi this is done in subvi. the problem is that the main application is not to be proceed even if I selected "data loaded from a file to the main vi" however, the main vi will be proceeded if I selected "data loaded from a file to the subvi". Does anyone know the reason for this?

I think there is a simple answer but I am having difficulties understanding the situation. Would it be possible to explain again in more detail?

that's ok I solved the problem. I found out that you cannot pass boolean control from one vi to another...
